The TIE Interceptor was a TIE Series starfighter manufactured and developed by Sienar Fleet Systems, and was used for dogfighting actions by the Galactic Empire, and the Dark Universal Empire. Unlike the multitude of TIE variants, the TIE Interceptor serve as a lighter, and faster fighter that deployed during the welcoming ceremony, and proved to be a lethal combination of firepower and speed.
Description[]
Like TIE/ln space superiority starfighter, the TIE Interceptor serves as swift-moving starfighters combined with lethal firepower and speed. Its cockpit remains identical to the original starfighter, and was identifiable by an arrow-shaped wingspans with solar collection panels. The TIE Interceptor consists of four laser cannons tipped by either side of arrow-shaped wings.

Imperial Actions[]
The TIE/IN Starfighter was deployed following the welcoming ceremony between Galactic Empire, and the Dark Universal Empire. Agile and resilient, TIE/IN Starfighters are used by the Imperial navy to eliminate the Rebel Alliance counterattacks, and nearly rivals to an RZ-1 A-Wing Interceptor. TIE Interceptors are capable for shooting starfighter targets, and participate on the second counterattack on Neo-Tokyo. In an instant, violet-colored TIE Fighters are also the primary workforce for the Dark Imperial navy, whilst TIE Interceptors had its same color. TIE Fighters are those to protect the Dark Universal Empire's starfleet, and Imperial starfleet before they had launched immediate offensive on Yavin 4. They allowed to protect the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, Devastator from Rebel counterattack, but they are quickly overpowered by Rebel Alliance with the help of Newton Pud, and Ultra Magnus.

Dark TIE Interceptor[]
The Dark TIE/IN Starfighter was also designed by Sienar Fleet Systems, shading the agile fighters from greyish-white, to violet. The Dark Universal Empire's TIE Interceptors are swift and deadly, similar to the other variants in which Imperial forces maneuvers in flight in air and space. In this moment, Dark TIE/IN starfighters, alongside Dark TIE Avengers participate on multiple cities, battle stations, worlds, and other locations that spanned from before the Proclamation of a New Order, to First Order/Resistance War.
