Saruman is the ruler of the Istari, wizards directly sent to Middle-Earth by the godlike Valar to seek guidance to his armed soldiers, archers, and crusaders to combat Sauron's villainous and vindictive rule. Due to Sauron's desire for power, Saruman seeks to have vengeance regarding his former friend, Gandalf, and his company of heroes, before his order will ready to battle against Gandalf's army. His darkness flows upon his minds, as he unleashed his dark wizardry to protect Isengard from impending destruction, and also to obey the dark lord, Sauron. Saruman will violently overpower all around Middle-Earth, and fulfill Sauron's wishes by defeating the army all around the entire planet, just as his dark magical skills will far more great to destroy it.
