Carlist Rieekan was a Human male officer who serve the Alliance to Restore the Republic as general of Echo Base on Hoth. A stern military leader of the Rebellion (alongside Leia Organa), he hailed from his peaceful world of Alderaan, hoping to battle against the ruthless Galactic Empire, and sought to protect the galaxy forever. In an instant, he fought the Galactic Civil War and came an aid to Leia Organa to prevent Sheev Palpatine's thousand-fold prophecy, and orders his Rebel Alliance armed forces to tackle Imperial Stormtroopers in the battlefields.

Carlist Rieekan was a military leader of the Rebel Alliance's Echo Base on Hoth, making his debut in The Empire Strikes Back. His hair was brown with faded grey edges on either side, fair skin, and eyes blue. As a general of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, Rieekan dons his Rebel uniform jacket, faded white gloves, brown belt, boots and khaki-colored pants.

Entering the Rebellion[]
Carlist Rieekan was born on his homeworld of Alderaan, and learns his ways of the military life when he granted his wishes to his friends and family. At the adolescent age, he graduated at the military school on Coruscant when he traveled back to his homeworld, and started his role as officer. Following the inception of the Rebel Alliance, Carlist Rieekan became general.
He, and the rest of Rebel forces disembark to Bracca, where Mon Mothma discovered Venator-class Star Destroyer placed in the scrapyard. Tensions grew as Carlist Rieekan warns that Imperial forces approaches at the fallen Republic Attack Cruiser, making the Rebels to bring the ship back to the galaxy, and reassemble the Celestial Federation fleet. Following the assembly of the Venator-class Star Destroyer, Carlist Rieekan searching for survivors stranded in LV-426, when they rescued Major Zephyr Shields and his friends.
As the Celestial Federation forces came an aid to Sailor Guardians which was pinned down by Imperial forces on Neo-Tokyo, Carlist Rieekan sought to deploy his reinforcements to attack Stormtroopers until the arrival of the United Leadership of Darkness. In the wake of Dark Universal Empire's reign, Carlist Rieekan, and Leia Organa shocked in horror, just before he sought to order officers to catch them off-guard. Rieekan ran quickly to contact Jan Dodonna on Yavin 4, where the Imperials attempt to occupy Rebel base.
As Imperial forces, and the Heartless attacked Massassi Outpost, Carlist Rieekan call Hera Syndulla, and Garazeb Orrelios for reinforcements to enlist an aid to Jan Dodonna. He saluted Rebel forces before they enter the battlefields, and return to the war room. In the middle of the battle, Rieekan uses comlink to call Zephyr Shields and Celestial Federation forces, as well as the Artilleryman and the Dream Warriors to concentrate firepower to the Stormtroopers before entering within the Massassi Outpost. As Jan Dodonna rescued from Imperial counterattack, and the defeat of Darth Vader's Imperial fleet, Carlist Rieekan thankfully accomplished the objective to Rebel Alliance forces, and the Battle of Yavin draws to its conclusion.
In the war room, Carlist Rieekan, Crix Madine, Mon Mothma, Admiral Raddus, and Hera Syndulla converse about the Galactic Empire declared as a much bigger threat to Rebels, and he acknowledges Raddus during the mission briefing. He informs Rebel Troopers, Rebel Pilots, and Rebel Marksmen about the next goal to protect San Fransokyo from the Imperial forces. They later agreed, and ready for next move on the city.
